CADUSD - in a major cycle trough zone.
The weekly chart here shows the full rotation of a 54 month cycle and the phasing analysis suggests early August as the last trough. This implies that we are at the start of a new meaningful uptrend. However, it is not inconceivable that the actual 54 month cycle trough is pushed forward in time and the stack of trough diamonds shifts. Nevertheless, it is worth looking at because an opportunity at the shorter cycles degree may be presenting itself. Here is the daily chart:
